YOROIDOSHI 鎧通, Very Thick Blade (10.5mm), Hizensagaju Tadayoshi 1854 signed
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a very thick blade, with the Motokasane exceeding 10mm.
I have posted a photo comparing it with the relatively thin Tanto, so you can see the difference in thickness.
It is included in the popular Aikuchi Koshirae.
The Tang is engraved with the signature and date, and is a work from the late Edo period.
The Fuchi and Koikuchi are decorated with the Ajiro pattern and are of excellent workmanship.
