The straight blade has a beautiful Midare-Hamon engraved on it.
The scabbard has a Sayagaki, which states that it is a KATANA of Uda Kunimune.

The Uda were a group of swordsmiths active in Ecchu (present-day Toyama Prefecture).
Their roots lie in the Yamato School.
They migrated from Yamato to Ecchu at the end of the Kamakura period, and flourished until the Muromachi period.
Includes NBTHK Certificate.
