Each part is engraved with the serial number "4" in kanji.
The lock pin works, and the scabbard appears to be made of aluminum.
The blade is a repurposed traditional Muromachi-period samurai sword.
Descendants of samurai would often turn blades passed down as family heirlooms into GUNTOs and take them to the battlefield.
