WW2 Original, Japanese Army Officer Sword.
The scabbard is made of iron.
The Showa stamp can be seen on the tang along with the signature, which indicates that it passed the military's strict quality inspection.
The blade is wide, thick and very sturdy.
The habaki has Tanitomo "谷友" written on it, which is probably the owner's name.
