Type98 GUNTO 九八式軍刀, Nishimura Kanetsune 西村兼常 signed, Very good condition

WW2 Original Japanese Army Officer Sword.
The exterior is in very good condition.
The scabbard is covered in leather, but the iron scabbard can be seen underneath.
All metal fittings are in good condition with no missing parts.
A stamp, which appears to indicate the manufacturer, can be seen on the back of the scabbard's leather cover.
The stopper lock pin works properly.
A tassel strap is included.

Nishimura Kanetsune is believed to have been the military's exclusive swordsmith.
