1868 was the last year of the Edo period.
He was a highly skilled swordsmith active in Chikugo, but since sword making was prohibited during the Meiji period, not many remain.
The blade is in good condition and comes with a fine Koshirae and Shirasaya.
The Kozuka, which has an interesting tiger design, is signed, "Naomasa".
The exterior comes with a Koshirae and Shirasaya, and there is one blade.
