TOKUBESTSU HOZON, Long KATANA, Echizenkokuju Kanenori 越前國住包則 signed, Early Edo period

NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper.
Early Edo period (around Kanbun era).

A very long Katana.
It is wide and thick and in good condition.
It has an interesting Tsuba (handguard) with a rat motif.
There are scratches such as Homarekizu (誉傷) on the Mune side.
Homarekizu are cut marks that appear to have been caused when the blade was used to defend against an opponent's sword attack during battle.
