Kashu Kagemitsu was a swordsmith active in Kaga around the Oei period (late Nanbokucho period to early Muromachi period). Approximately 600-650 years ago.
The curved silhouette is very graceful.
It comes with a beautiful habaki covered in gold and silver.
The appraisal of the old sayagaki states "Bizen Osafune Motomasa", a swordsmith active in the same period.
