Dattanjin(韃靼人) is painted on the Fuchikashira and Tsuba.
It is a well-made, high-quality item.
This sword is thought to have been made around the Kanbun period, in the early Edo period.

The straight silhouette with few curves is characteristic of swords made around the same time.

Thought to be a work by Settsu Yoshimitsu, Osaka-Shinto.
