Original Japanese Army Sword from the late WW2 period.
The swordsmith is Hirata Hidemitsu, probably an exclusive swordsmith for the Army.
It has a slight curve for a GUNTO sword.
The Togari-Gunome Hamon is burned onto the blade.
The manufacturing control number is written in red paint on the back of the tang.
