Tsuka has a fine Shakudo deer menuki.
The Mune side of the tang is engraved with 2-9(二ノ九) in Kiritsuke-Mei.
This is likely a control number at the armory.
The blade is very thick and has a heavy feel, Iron kojiri attached to the tip of the scabbard is decorated with a plum blossom.
