Mantis and Snail TSUBA, Nobuie 信家 signed, Edo period, Iron back, with BOX

There is a hole for the Kogai on the right side of the Tsuba, but it has a very unusual shape.
It is shaped like two overlapping rectangles, and is filled with Shakudo and gold Umegane.
The hole for the Kozuka is decorated with gold Uchifukurin.
The Mimi is intentionally made to have a non-uniform shape, which gives it an artistic feel.
