This sword was made from the end of the Kamakura period to the Nanbokucho period.
Originally a Tachi, it has since been shortened to Katana (Oosuriage).
Even so, it is very long for a Katana. It measures 740mm (29.13in).
Handachi-style Koshirae, Shakudo Fittings.
The Shakudo Tsuba features insects.
Mihara was a swordsmith active at the Bingo School.
