Bizen Osafune was destroyed by a flood at the end of the Muromachi period, but this swordsmith is one of the surviving swordsmiths. This sword was made in the early Edo period.
The chrysanthemum crest is carved into the Tang along with the sword's signature.
This sword is long for a wakizashi.
