This Tanto comes with two certificates.
Certificates for the blade and Koshirae.
The blade is a work from the Muromachi period, and the swordsmith is Jumyo(寿命).
His roots lie in the Tegai swordsmiths of the Yamato School.
It all began when one of them moved to Mino during the Kamakura period.
He was a swordsmith who was active for a long time from the Kamakura period to the end of the Edo period.
The Koshirae was probably a work from around the end of the Edo period.
