Harimadaijo Tadakuni 播磨大掾忠国 Long Wakizashi, Early Edo period, NBTHK Shinsa paper
The blade is wide and thick, and has been passed down to this day in good condition for an early Edo period work from about 400 years ago.
The blade is engraved with Bohi (棒樋), which extends to the tang and reads Kakitoshi (掻き通し).
This swordsmith has roots in Hizen Tadayoshi, a very famous swordsmith in Shinto.
At the end of the tang is Ubu Mekugiana, which gives us an idea of the original length and style of the blade.
