This is a TANTO with interesting fittings.
The Fuchi is signed Yasuchika.
The Kashira has a Hotei and a rat, and the Kurikata has a very rare mushroom design.
The blade is very thick, 8.9 mm (0.35 in.) thick.
Dating from the late Edo period, towards the end of the Tokugawa shogunate.
Tsuba with Shakudo cover, Seppa with gold cover.
