Tadamitsu was a renowned swordsmith representing Suebizen(末備前), active during the late Muromachi period. This sword is estimated to be from the Eisho Taiei(永正大永) era (around the early 1500s).

It is in the Katateuchi (片手打ち) style, which was popular at the time.

This style features a shorter overall length and handle, and a larger curve, making it easier to handle with one hand.
